Bahá'í rectangular tag Necklace - Stainless Steel
"During the Ridván festival last April, the Universal House of Justice made an announcement that exhilarated the Baha’i world: the time had come to raise a befitting Shrine that would be the final resting place for the sacred remains of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá. Enthusiasm has mounted over the months since with the announcement of the architect and the unveiling of the design concept for a unique edifice that will honor a figure with a distinct station.”
- Bahá'í World News Service (online), January 13, 2020.
This necklace was designed thinking about this momentous occasion, as well as this year marking 100 years since the passing of our beloved Master. We have changed it up a bit for the new design which is also made of 316 Stainless Steel and electroplated with Sterling Silver; it has the Greatest Name symbol on one side of the larger pendant, the Ringstone symbol on the other; the smaller pendant has a 9 pointed star on one side and 1844 on the other.
It is a heavy chain, very solid.
As with any other products made of Stainless Steel, avoid contact with sweat, cosmetics and oil as they can all collect on the surface and weaken the metal's resistance to surface corrosion therefore, making it more susceptible to degradation. Clean it using a soft cloth, warm water and mild dishwashing soap.
